I know. It is a little early to be thinking about Christmas presents. I mean Halloween hasn’t even passed yet. The department stores haven’t even started to decorate. Not one Christmas song has played on the radio, and yet here I am with a Christmas present guide. I know. It is early, but I also know some of you are already making your list. So hi. This post is for you.
Before I get into the post I have a quick message to my loyal readers. Go ahead and skip the next few paragraphs if you aren’t interested. But I do talk about an upcoming give away if you want to stick around.
First I want to say I am sorry I missed a whole week of blogging. I know, but I have a good excuse. See I live in southern Mississippi, which means I was affected by the most recent hurricane. Now my area was fine, but I had some family stay with me. This put me out for two days because I had to get my house back in order when they left. Then I started to rethink my blogging plan. I will no longer post five days a week, but three instead.
Now let’s talk about that giveaway. As most of you know I was given a carrier to review not too long ago. Well, I already had one so after one day of use (for the review of course) it is no longer getting used. So I want to give it away to one of you lucky people. Go ahead and subscribe to the blog for an update on when that give away will be. I might only do it for my email subscribers. Also here is the post where I talk all about the carrier I want to give away.
Now, let’s start in with the Christmas presents. I don’t know about you, but I have already started my list on what I need to get my little guy. He isn’t hard to please, but I like to be prepared. I am also a single mom, and I like to inform his father of my plans so he can buy something different if he pleases. So here are my top 5 Christmas presents for your little ones.
My Blazin Dragon
This little guy is very popular at the moment. My Blazin Dragon is a FurReal Friends pet who “breathes fire” (water vapor) and eats a little marshmallow. My son saw this guy on TV just one time and hasn’t stopped talking about it. Of course, he is sitting in my Amazon cart just waiting for the right time to buy him. I am not going to lie. I am kind of hoping he goes on sale.
Now, I also looked up reviews. For the most part, everyone seems pleased with this toy. Both parents and kids alike just can’t get enough. And here is the best part. It is a quiet toy. The noises that it makes a very small. Anything quiet is a win in my book. We have enough toys that make noises around my house.
Little People Loops and Swoops
This is another one my son just can’t stop talking about. Loops and Swoops is a car track type of toy. The car gets released at the top and does a few loops before it hits the bottom. I actually have a friend who already has this for their child and they love it. Again, it is a quiet toy. Nothing like peace and quiet while the children entertain themselves.
Okay, maybe this one is just my son. He loves to vacuum and he always wants to help. Why not teach kids how to do those chores early? This toy vacuum even looks like the one I have.
Now, of course, I already looked up reviews to make sure it was something my son (and your children) would love. I just like to be prepared. The one I linked to gets great reviews, and everyone seems to love it. Now if only it actually vacuumed.
This is another a friend of mine has for her children. They love it so much that of course, we are going get it too. This is more of a play tent kind of thing. It has a tent area, a tunnel, and a ball pit. This rocket ship is great for the inspiring imagination. And did I mention it makes no noise? I mean I can’t say your children won’t make any noise, but at least this toy won’t add to it.
No Christmas presents guide would be complete without mega blocks. I can’t tell you why kids love these so much, but they do. My son already has plenty so we’ll be buying some of the extra pieces instead. If your child doesn’t have mega blocks you should really consider it this Christmas. I even have some advice on how to use them for learning. Check out this post if you’re interested.
Well, there you have it. 5 Christmas presents sure to please your children. Don’t forget to subscribe to the blog for news when the giveaway goes live. Make sure to comment with any other ideas you might have when it comes to gifts.
